Senior AutoCAD Technician

Location: Anchorage, Alaska, USA; onsite engineering team

What you will do

• Develop engineering design drawings for highways, mining roads, water, sewer, storm drain utilities, and site development improvements.
• Provide plan production services with engineers and other technicians.
• Coordinate project discipline models and design teams.
• Work from plan markups, sketches, and verbal direction across multiple projects.
• Mentor CAD technicians, delegate work, and assist with QA/QC of CAD deliverables.
• Deliver accurate documents that meet company, client, industry, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of AutoCAD 3D design drafting experience.
• Proficiency in drafting techniques, CAD workstations, and related peripherals.
• Ability to produce accurate, complete, high-quality drafting details while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work independently or collaboratively.
• Effective verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; business-related vehicle travel is part of the role.
