Project Engineer II (Civil Engineering)

Location: Hybrid role based in Akron, Ohio or Cleveland, Ohio

Salary: $76,685–$142,913 per year. Typical new-hire ranges are $76,685–$95,010 in Akron and $80,945–$100,288 in Cleveland.

What you will do

• Lead the preparation of construction and ancillary documents, specifications, and engineering details.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute project tasks across multiple concurrent projects with design teams and senior staff.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, sub-consultants, authorities, internal departments, and project managers.
• Research and apply applicable design standards, codes, regulations, and jurisdictional requirements.
• Perform engineering calculations, technical analysis, design development, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and help ensure accurate, complete, and compliant project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional engineering experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTurn, Bluebeam Revu, and other applicable design software.
• Computer skills for daily timesheet entry and Microsoft Outlook communication.
• FE examination completion and EIT certification are preferred.
• Professional Engineer licensure is preferred.
