Production Team Lead - 1st Shift

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; on-site production facility

What you will do

• Direct, coordinate, and plan activities for a production department under the master production schedule.
• Lead up to 15 hourly employees, including machine operators working with milling, mixing, and canning equipment.
• Communicate production procedures and ensure they are understood and implemented.
• Interpret statistical reports, cycle-time specifications, and job orders, then assign duties to workers.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisors and complete additional duties assigned by production management.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, and supervisory or managerial work.
• Mechanical skills and knowledge of production processes.
• Strong math, written, oral, reading, and comprehension skills for reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams, with knowledge of manufacturing principles such as OEE, Lean, or TPM.

Nice to have

• SAP knowledge.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
• Spanish, Polish, or sign language proficiency.
• Manufacturing program planning and coordination experience.
• Experience with ink manufacturing, inventory control, or change management.
