Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty (Nursing)

Location: Norman, Oklahoma, USA; in-person clinical teaching in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment

What you will do

• Mentor BSN nursing students in inpatient clinical settings and connect classroom and simulation learning with patient care.
• Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision and evaluation of students delivering nursing care.
• Give documented performance feedback, support student remediation, and assess work against course objectives.
• Prepare clinical assignments, review academic and clinical work, and maintain current knowledge of agency policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with course coordinators, deans, clinical agencies, faculty, and administration on student and program matters.
• Support curriculum implementation, assessment activities, campus retention efforts, and applicable regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered Oklahoma RN license required.
• Illinois RN license required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for professors currently licensed in Illinois.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
• At least two years of professional RN experience within the last five years in the area of instruction.
• Clinical teaching experience is not required.

Nice to have

• Solid clinical experience in Adult Health, Critical Care, Community Health, Leadership, Capstone, Fundamentals, Maternal-Child, Mental Health, or Pediatrics.
