What you will do

• Partner with distribution, manufacturing, logistics, and IT teams to improve safety, quality, productivity, and manufacturing costs.
• Design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for product distribution and print-on-demand operations.
• Participate in feasibility studies, production expansion analyses, capital project justifications, and other engineering analyses.
• Design and improve products, processes, systems, layouts, and technologies that increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Execute lean projects, including scope definition, budgeting, resource planning, and schedule management.
• Travel to facilities and vendors to lead system installations and evaluate technology applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• At least 2 years of experience with new layouts, material handling, PLCs, or process improvements.
• At least 2 years of experience using AutoCAD.
• At least 1 year of experience using SolidWorks or other 3D computer software.
• Ability to work at the La Vergne, Tennessee, USA location and travel to facilities and vendors as needed.

Nice to have

• 2–5 years of experience in an engineering role within manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build cross-departmental partnerships.
