Director, Data Driven Leadership Middle Schools (Data Analytics)

Location: Dallas, TX, USA. Hybrid work with reporting to the central office or schools three days a week; regular travel between campuses, regional offices, and external locations is required.

What you will do

• Lead a culture of data use and continuous improvement across middle schools.
• Coach regional and school leaders on analyzing data, identifying performance gaps, diagnosing root causes, and improving student outcomes.
• Develop annual goals, milestones, success metrics, and strategies aligned with state accountability systems and academic priorities.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis and create custom data visualizations, reports, and data stories.
• Build progress-monitoring systems and routines for academic growth, STAAR performance, grade-level mastery, Algebra readiness, and high school readiness.
• Provide recurring insights and recommendations to leaders and support timely instructional adjustments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience required; master’s degree preferred.
• Deep knowledge of data-driven instruction, data analysis, progress monitoring, curriculum and instruction, and middle school academic systems.
• Exceptional analytical skills, foundational statistics knowledge, and the ability to translate findings into action.
• Strong communication, coaching, influencing, project management, prioritization, and execution skills.
• Commitment to educational equity, student achievement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between campuses; ability to maintain emotional control under stress and work with frequent interruptions.
