What you will do

• Develop and execute logistics and materials management strategy across the organization.
• Lead, coach, and develop logistics teams while managing staffing, performance, succession planning, KPIs, and departmental goals.
• Oversee shipping and receiving, inventory control, procurement coordination, distribution, warehousing, carrier selection, routing, and freight optimization.
• Evaluate and maintain ERP, EDI, labeling, ASN, and other logistics systems while supporting digitalization and process improvements.
• Manage international trade, customs, quality, environmental, health, and safety compliance.
• Manage logistics budgets, costs, CAPEX projects, external providers, customer escalations, and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of logistics experience in a manufacturing environment and 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations, including planning, fulfillment, inventory, warehousing, and transportation.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP and logistics tools including EDI, ASN platforms, and courier systems.
• Experience with international trade compliance and customs regulations, including import/export controls.
• Leadership, budgeting, cost analysis, communication, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, CTPAT, PIP, MMOG, 8D, and 5Y methodologies.
• Trade and compliance certifications.
• Forklift, overhead crane, aerial platform, TDG, or WHMIS certifications.
