Production Supervisor 1st Shift (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Direct, coordinate, and plan activities for a production department according to the master production schedule.
• Supervise hourly employees, including machine operators working with milling, mixing, and canning equipment.
• Lead a group of up to 15 hourly employees and coordinate with other Production Supervisors.
• Communicate procedures, verify understanding, and ensure proper implementation.
• Interpret statistical reports, cycle-time specifications, and job orders, then assign duties to workers.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, and supervisory or managerial work.
• Mechanical skills and knowledge of production processes.
• Strong math, communication, reading, comprehension, and report-writing skills.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams, with knowledge of OEE, Lean, or TPM manufacturing principles.

Nice to have

• SAP knowledge.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
• Spanish, Polish, or sign language proficiency.
• Experience with inventory control, change management, manufacturing planning, or ink manufacturing.
