Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty (Nursing Education)

Location: In-person clinical teaching in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment

What you will do

• Mentor BSN nursing students in inpatient clinical settings and connect classroom and simulation learning with patient care.
• Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision while students deliver nursing care.
• Evaluate student performance against course objectives and provide documented feedback and remediation.
• Orient students to clinical-agency policies, procedures, and expectations while maintaining current knowledge of site requirements.
• Prepare clinical assignments, review written work, and communicate student or agency concerns to the course coordinator.
• Support program development, assessment, retention initiatives, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with faculty and college administration.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional RN license in Oklahoma.
• Illinois RN license required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for professors currently licensed in Illinois.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
• At least two years of professional registered-nurse experience within the last five years in the area of instruction.
• Teaching experience is not required.

Nice to have

• Clinical experience in adult health, critical care, community health, leadership, capstone practicum, fundamentals, maternal-child health, mental health, or pediatrics.
