What you will do
- Review equipment performance, availability, and breakdowns to identify reliability improvements.
- Develop and maintain lifecycle maintenance plans for critical production equipment.
- Lead automation, control-system optimization, and functional-safety initiatives.
- Improve maintenance strategies through reliability and engineering projects.
- Investigate electrical safety, health, and environmental incidents, then implement corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day production issues and recommend practical, robust solutions.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, such as a Bachelor degree or Diploma, or a relevant trade background with industry experience.
- Experience in equipment reliability and lifecycle-focused maintenance.
- Knowledge of PLCs, including Siemens S7, TIA, or WinCC Flexible, and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience with AC and DC systems, servo motors, and drives such as Siemens or SEW.
- Proficiency in automation and control systems.
