What you will do
- Integrate new automated equipment into the manufacturing ecosystem.
- Modify electrical systems, industrial controls, and machine safety systems.
- Debug and modify PLC and robot programs.
- Commission SCADA applications using technologies such as Ignition, Kepware, and AWS.
- Provide production support for sophisticated manufacturing equipment.
- Develop scalable hardware and software solutions that improve manufacturing safety, quality, and efficiency.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience with automation control systems such as PLCs, robots, and CNC equipment.
- 5–10 years of experience with controls and automation software environments, including Siemens TIA Portal or Allen-Bradley ControlLogix.
- Ability to interpret and review electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Strong design, process simplification, communication, quality, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or asylee under export control regulations.
- A standard background check is required; additional checks may apply for certain job profiles.
Nice to have
- B.S. degree or higher in mechanical, manufacturing, mechatronics, electrical, controls, or a related engineering field.
- Knowledge of IEC 61131, ANSI B11, NFPA 79, and RIA 15.06 safety standards.
- Experience with Python or C#, NC programming, electrical machine verification, source-controlled controls code, and manufacturing inspection systems.
- Experience with CNC machines, metrology systems, laser tracking, and assembly processes.
