Mechanical QC Inspector (Rotating/Static Equipment)

What you will do

• Support quality control procedures for rotating and static mechanical equipment under the direction of the Mechanical QC Engineer.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, engineering criteria, and inspection requirements.
• Inspect received mechanical materials and equipment for compliance with approved documentation.
• Perform fit-up inspections and final dimensional checks before installation and welding.
• Prepare inspection reports, test records, quality documentation, and punch lists, following items through closure.
• Support client inspections and testing, identify non-conformances, and verify that measuring and testing instruments are calibrated and functional.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a QC Rotating/Static Equipment Inspector on oil and gas projects.
• Hands-on inspection experience with piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, valves, and associated mechanical systems.
• Strong reporting, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Organized, committed, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
