Specialist Rotating Engineer (Offshore Subsea)

What you will do

• Provide specialist engineering expertise for gas and steam turbines, compressors, pumps, blowers, fans, gearboxes, seals, couplings, and bearings across ADNOC offshore assets.
• Develop equipment specifications, datasheets, technical evaluations, and procurement packages for new projects and modifications.
• Support FEED, EPC, commissioning, start-up, and operational phases of offshore projects.
• Monitor equipment reliability, review condition-monitoring reports, and lead root cause failure analyses and reliability studies.
• Support troubleshooting, maintenance strategy reviews, equipment upgrades, retrofits, and life-extension initiatives.
• Review vendor documentation, participate in bid evaluations, witness FAT, SAT, performance tests, and commissioning activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 15+ years of experience in rotating equipment engineering, including at least 5 years in offshore oil and gas facilities.
• Experience with gas compression systems, power generation packages, critical pumps, turbomachinery, reliability engineering, maintenance optimization, commissioning, and start-up.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment design and selection, machinery diagnostics, vibration analysis, RCM, RCA, condition monitoring, preventive and predictive maintenance, RBI, and SAP PM/CMMS systems.
• Knowledge of API, ISO, ASME, ADNOC engineering standards, and international offshore regulations.
• Must work in Abu Dhabi, initially from the client or contractor office.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status or relevant professional certification.
