Specialist Rotating Equipment Engineer (Offshore Water Injection): Leading the design, selection, procurement, and technical management of rotating equipment for ADNOC offshore oil and gas facilities with an accent on compressors, turbines, pumps, generators, reliability, and international engineering standards. Focus on coordinating vendor packages, resolving technical issues, supporting inspections and factory acceptance tests, and guiding equipment through construction, commissioning, and start-up.
Location: Based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, with relocation to the Spain office and subsequent return to Abu Dhabi

What you will do
- Lead rotating equipment engineering and design activities for offshore oil and gas facilities.
- Prepare, review, and approve equipment datasheets, technical specifications, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and vendor documentation.
- Manage the design and selection of compressors, gas and steam turbines, pumps, blowers, fans, diesel engines, generators, and package equipment.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and API, ISO, ASME, and IEC requirements.
- Coordinate with process, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, structural, and procurement disciplines.
- Support procurement, inspection, testing, FAT, construction, commissioning, start-up, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, design reviews, and constructability reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; a master’s degree is advantageous.
- 15–18 years of experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, LNG, refinery, or offshore EPC projects.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Lead Rotating Engineer.
- Experience across FEED, detailed engineering, EPC, and brownfield projects, preferably involving ADNOC Offshore or other major Middle East energy projects.
- Strong knowledge of API 610, API 617, API 618, API 612, API 616, API 614, and API 670.
- Expertise in equipment performance, reliability, vibration analysis, condition monitoring, mechanical seals, bearings, lubrication systems, vendor packages, and commissioning support.
Nice to have
- Professional Engineering certification.
- Experience with offshore platforms, gas compression stations, processing facilities, and offshore production complexes.
- Recent ADNOC Offshore experience and involvement in projects exceeding USD 100 million.
- Experience with gas compression, power generation, water injection, and hydrocarbon processing facilities.
