Responsibilities :
• Ensuring the proper implementation of the agreed policy, and the achievement of the required quality objectives.
• Monitor the Quality assurance and quality control at site, including review and sign-off of the method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs).
• Report deviations, risks, and improvement opportunities to the Project Manager.
• Witnessing testing (incl. calibration of equipment) and monitoring through periodic and planned randomized spot checks.
• Develop and execute the Project Quality Audit Plan (internal teams, EPC Contractor, Subcontractors and vendors); maintain the Audit Report Register; monitor timely closure of all findings.
• Supervising the corrective & preventive action program.
• Conducting quality management reviews.
• Performing contractor quality evaluations in conjunction with Project and Subcontractor Management.
• Allocate QC inspectors, oversee ITP (hold/witness/review) points.
• Keep a register of non-conformance reports (NCRs) and follow up until closure.
• Review and approve inspection reports, manage NCRs, deviations, concessions, and corrective actions.
• Set quality requirements in material requisitions, bid evaluations, and purchase orders.
• Review of Subcontractors’ documentation, coordinate subcontractors’ facility inspections, manage fabrication defect resolution.
• Acting as the focal point for quality related matters with the client quality representative. Reporting to the Project Manager and Construction Manager on quality related matters (status on audits, inspections, and other project activities).
• Add input related to Quality to the monthly progress reports, and capture the lessons learned.
• Attend project and quality project meetings and present information about Project Quality activities.
