Senior Electrical Designer

Location: Onsite at the Newport Beach, California office, United States

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 annual salary

What you will do

• Perform and oversee electrical analysis and design for commercial and institutional building projects.
• Develop coordinated electrical drawings in collaboration with architects, owners, and contractors.
• Work with engineers, designers, and drafters to execute electrical designs.
• Interface with contractors during construction to support positive project outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Discipline Manager on design and drawing production.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least seven years of experience in electrical design.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and building power distribution design.
• Strong verbal, written, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Experience with commercial, retail, institutional, healthcare, education, federal, or industrial projects.

Nice to have

• California Electrical Engineering license.
• Experience with DSA and HCAi projects, California projects and codes, and Title 24 Part 6.
• Experience with SKM and/or ETAP software.
