What you will do

• Develop electrical system designs for power, lighting, fire alarm, and nurse call systems.
• Perform existing building surveys and document current electrical and fire alarm conditions.
• Prepare, edit, and coordinate electrical specifications and construction documents.
• Author engineering reports, assessment reports, and Basis of Design (BOD) documents.
• Lead technical discussions, design coordination meetings, and client presentations.
• Support construction administration activities, including RFIs and submittal reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of electrical design experience.
• Must be based in California for the remote role in San Francisco/San Jose.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong working knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and design guidelines.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• LEED accreditation or sustainable design experience.
• Knowledge of HCAI / OSHPD standards.
• Experience with science and technology or education buildings.
