What you will do

• Develop electrical system designs including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and nurse call systems.
• Perform existing building surveys and document current electrical and fire alarm conditions.
• Prepare, edit, and coordinate electrical specifications and construction documents.
• Author engineering reports, assessment reports, and Basis of Design (BOD) documents.
• Coordinate with internal project teams, architects, and other engineering disciplines.
• Support construction administration activities including RFIs, submittal reviews, and field coordination.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of electrical design experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and design guidelines.
• Ability to perform lighting photometric, voltage drop, and short-circuit calculations.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with HCAI / OSHPD standards.
• LEED accreditation or sustainable design experience.
• Experience in science, technology, or education sectors.
