Reservations Manager (Travel)

Location: Cairns, Australia. Applicants must be based in Australia and hold Australian residency, with substantial Australian work experience.

Salary: AUD 85,000 yearly

What you will do

• Oversee the Reservations department, including the Sales and Service teams.
• Manage daily operations, resource allocation, reporting, and team priorities.
• Mentor team members and support Team Leaders.
• Handle customer escalations while maintaining high service standards.
• Assist with frontline calls and email enquiries.
• Develop a responsive, caring, and sales-driven team culture.

Requirements

• Experience managing a team.
• Background in reservations or sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise, multitask, and meet individual and team deadlines.
• Strong administration skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with reservation systems and Microsoft Office programs.
