Destination Specialist / Program Developer – Australia/New Zealand

What you will do

• Develop and manage customized travel programs across Australia/New Zealand from concept through delivery.
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences, explain trip options, make recommendations, and assess fit.
• Design, propose, sell, and book customized itineraries, coordinating availability and logistics with in-country operators and suppliers.
• Prepare final itineraries, pre-departure materials, and other documentation for booked trips.
• Build relationships with hotels, tour operators, airlines, and local guides while maintaining strong destination knowledge.
• Manage inquiries, bookings, client support, lead and client data entry, and related administrative work in collaboration with Operations and other departments.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience selling high-end custom travel in one or more relevant destinations, ideally including time spent living there.
• Travel experience in the assigned destinations and some Spanish skills.
• Fluent English, with excellent verbal communication and grammatically correct writing for client communications, proposals, and itineraries.
• Strong customer service, organization, multitasking, judgment, follow-up, and remote collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and a bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Willingness to travel to destination areas frequently and provide strong professional references.
