Sakurai Operator 2nd Shift

Location: Onsite in Liverpool, New York, USA; second shift Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM

Hourly rate: $20.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate the Sakurai digital printing press and follow printing procedures to complete assigned jobs on time.
• Interpret order specifications, setup instructions, and special requirements.
• Perform routine equipment, fixture, tool, and gauge inspections and report repair or replacement needs.
• Monitor quality, productivity, process variation, work-in-process status, and production documentation.
• Control supplies and raw materials while completing autonomous maintenance routines.
• Support team problem solving, ELS training, Kaizen events, 5S activities, and process improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of previous experience.
• Experience with digital printing and HP operators; HP 7K/6600 Level 1 or 2 certification is preferred.
• Pre-press knowledge and the ability to use computers and electronic mail.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude, mathematical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and logical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced production environment, with required certifications acquired within the specified timeframe.

Nice to have

• Hazardous materials training certification.
