Imaging Operator 3

Location: Orlando, Florida, United States; onsite, full-time, second shift from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am

Salary: $22.56–$32.21 per hour, with potential overtime, shift differential, call-in, and standby pay

What you will do

• Operate high-resolution variable-print imaging equipment.
• Program, prepare, set up, and release print jobs from the production queue.
• Adjust image position, color quality, resolution, perforations, folds, feed rollers, tensioning, timing, and in-line finishing.
• Monitor output quality and ensure jobs meet correctness and customer specifications.
• Maintain production logs and delivery manifests.
• Order print supplies and maintain inventory levels.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of digital print and/or inkjet imaging equipment setup, operation, adjustment, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose and correct operating problems affecting product quality and production timelines.
• Advanced knowledge of color theory and color correction.
• Excellent knowledge of digital-print file manipulation and file formats.
• Ability to set up feed rollers, tensioning, timing, and in-line finishing according to job specifications.
• Ability to instruct junior operators on corrective adjustments when needed.
