Senior Staff Product Assurance Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Plano, Texas, United States; onsite role with no remote work available

What you will do

• Negotiate and finalize quality and manufacturing specifications with external customers for module products.
• Evaluate, qualify, and continuously monitor external manufacturing partners and ODMs against agreed quality standards.
• Lead root-cause analysis, containment, corrective actions, and preventive actions for complex quality issues.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, test, product, applications, supply chain, and customer-facing teams without direct authority over every function.
• Own on-time, quality delivery and proactively identify and escalate risks affecting schedule or product quality.
• Track quality metrics and open issues, report status to leadership and customer QA teams, and verify CAPA effectiveness.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in quality engineering, product assurance, or factory manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, materials science, or a related technical field.
• Experience negotiating specifications directly with customers and managing external manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, or ODMs.
• Working knowledge of root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving methods, including 8D, 5-Why, and DMAIC.
• Strong experience with semiconductor or module manufacturing flows, especially SMT, and supply chain dynamics.
• Must work onsite in Plano, Texas; remote work is not available.
