Preconstruction & Bid Manager (General Building Construction)

Location: 10F South Tower, Rockwell Business Center, Sheridan, Mandaluyong, Philippines; projects are located throughout California.

Compensation: PHP 80,000–PHP 120,000 per month, based on experience, with performance-based bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Manage incoming bid opportunities, project intake, bid calendars, proposal schedules, and bid documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractor outreach, RFPs, bid coverage, bid leveling, buyout support, and contract coordination.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes, and schedules to identify constructability risks, scope gaps, and missing information.
• Coordinate procurement, material approvals, ordering, deliveries, lead times, substitutions, shortages, returns, and vendor follow-up.
• Support pricing negotiations, value engineering, cost control, and material standardization.
• Coordinate handoffs from preconstruction to estimating, project management, superintendents, and operations while improving SOPs, trackers, templates, and reporting systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in preconstruction, bid coordination, procurement, estimating support, project engineering, or commercial/general building construction.
• Experience with commercial tenant improvements, ground-up construction, industrial projects, healthcare or medical office projects, retail, or mixed-use projects.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and suppliers within California markets; general contractor experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, building systems and trades, procurement, material coordination, bid leveling, sequencing, and scheduling.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, MEP drawings, specifications, and bid packages.
• Strong organization, communication, negotiation, vendor management, problem-solving, accountability, and process improvement skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, BuildingConnected, Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet, Autodesk Construction Cloud, NetSuite, Monday.com, Buildertrend, Asana, JobTread, or similar construction management software.
