Senior Construction / Building Estimator

Location: Remote from Manila, Philippines; Australian working hours and Australian holidays apply.

Salary: PHP 85,000–122,000 per month

What you will do

• Lead complex tenders independently across the full building scope.
• Prepare construction-level estimates covering structural, architectural, civil, services, preliminaries, and site works.
• Complete quantity take-offs and trade breakdowns from construction documents, BIM models, and drawings.
• Define scopes of work, assumptions, exclusions, methodologies, and tender clarifications.
• Identify scope gaps, trade interfaces, missing information, and buildability risks, including the division between factory-manufactured and site-based work.
• Build CostX estimates and coordinate pricing, estimate handovers, and scope validation with Sales, Design, Manufacturing, Construction, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant construction estimating experience in commercial, modular, or head contractor environments.
• Experience delivering detailed full-building estimates independently across all major trades.
• Advanced CostX proficiency, including workbook setup, dimension groups, model mapping, rate build-ups, estimate templates, and first-principles estimating.
• Strong knowledge of Australian construction methodologies, NCC requirements, trade sequencing, and buildability principles.
• Practical site-based construction experience, including construction delivery, subcontractor coordination, and methodology.
• Strong Autodesk Revit and drawing interpretation skills, plus a tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
