Senior Estimator (Joinery)

Location: Remote from Manila, Philippines, working Australian hours and observing Australian holidays

Salary: PHP 80,000–112,000 per month

What you will do

• Own the commercial pipeline from opportunity identification and take-offs through tender pricing, negotiation, and signed contract.
• Act as the primary commercial contact for tier-one and tier-two builders and clients, leading negotiations and managing RFIs and addendums.
• Prepare accurate end-to-end pricing for joinery, cabinetry, pinboards, whiteboards, architectural metalwork, stone, and custom upholstery.
• Review architectural and interior design drawings, joinery details, and complex project specifications independently.
• Identify pricing risks, scope gaps, and buildability issues before production.
• Reconcile completed projects against estimates and improve pricing models, estimating systems, and bidding strategies.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a joinery or shopfitting estimator handling complex commercial quotes averaging $1M+ in value.
• Comprehensive knowledge of joinery and integrated trades, including stone, upholstery, metalwork, pinboards, and whiteboards.
• Expert-level Bluebeam skills are mandatory.
• Experience with structured ERP platforms; JOBMAN experience is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate, overcome client objections, close deals, and protect margins.
• Strong commercial judgment and the ability to prioritize high-yield opportunities.
