Location: Treasure Island, California, United States. The role requires an active, unrestricted license to practice independently in Puerto Rico and compliance with applicable Puerto Rico laws and regulations.

Salary: USD 136,000–152,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Provide mental health services, consultation, and training to staff and program participants.
  • Conduct initial and follow-up clinical assessments and mental health screenings for referred customers and new applicants.
  • Identify and diagnose mental health conditions using standardized procedures and review relevant medical documentation.
  • Perform biopsychosocial evaluations, determine functional capacity outcomes, and request additional assessments when needed.
  • Collaborate with case evaluators, physicians, health staff, and service planning teams to support follow-up and individualized plans.
  • Prepare clinical assessment reports, deliver mental health education, and contribute to assessment and documentation standards.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active, unrestricted Puerto Rico license for independent practice without supervision, including a permanent license authorized by the Psychologist Examiner Board.
  • Puerto Rico Department of Health registration as a psychologist and certification under Puerto Rico Law 300.
  • At least one year of experience providing assessment and treatment services to adolescents and young adults aged 16–24.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification for healthcare professionals, current health certificate, and a valid Puerto Rico driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Strong communication, leadership, customer service, organization, attention to detail, motivational interviewing, and care management skills.
