Mental Health Group Specialist

Location: Fully remote telehealth position for candidates who currently reside in Oregon and are legally eligible to work in the state. Group schedules are in PST: Monday–Thursday, 10am–8pm, or Tuesday–Thursday, 10am–8pm plus Friday, 5–8pm and Saturday, 8am–2pm.

What you will do

• Deliver 28 hours of group facilitation weekly using an evidence-based curriculum.
• Review assigned curriculum and facilitate sessions across different age groups and cohorts.
• Provide psychoeducation and skill-building support while fostering engagement, group cohesion, and active participation.
• Participate in Treatment Team meetings and bi-weekly Group Supervision with Clinical Leadership.
• Complete client documentation within 24 hours in accordance with state and The Joint Commission standards.
• Communicate promptly and professionally with Primary Therapists, Care Coaches, and other staff.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a mental health or related field, such as MSW, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Current residence in Oregon and legal eligibility to work in the state are required.
• Proficiency in multiple modalities, including DBT, CBT, EMDR, and motivational interviewing.
• Experience in intensive treatment settings and ability to work with diverse clients aged 8–64.
• Ability to facilitate effective virtual sessions with a reliable high-speed internet connection.
• Commitment to group-based treatment, professional boundaries, and active client engagement.
