EAP Consultant II (Behavioral Health)

What you will do

• Provide employee and management consultation on personal, workplace, and management concerns.
• Conduct EAP assessments, short-term counseling, critical incident response, orientations, webinars, and health and wellness training.
• Assess client risk, substance abuse, dependency, and job-performance issues, then refer clients to appropriate levels of care and community resources.
• Manage caseloads and complete timely case documentation in line with quality and performance standards.
• Identify operational challenges and recommend continuous improvement opportunities.
• Build effective relationships across the organization, support team activities, and maintain current clinical skills.

Requirements

• Current independent behavioral health licensure meeting Washington, DC requirements is required. Accepted credentials include LCSW-C, LCSW, LMHC, LPCC, or LPC.
• At least five years of clinical experience after completing a graduate degree.
• Master’s degree in Behavioral Health.
• Clinical training in chemical dependency, mental health, and brief therapy.
• Knowledge of workplace issues, employee-employer relationships, and the ability to acquire knowledge of EEO, ADA, FMLA, and Drug-Free Workplace requirements.
• Strong assessment, crisis intervention, solution-focused brief therapy, customer service, training, listening, communication, and adaptability skills.
