Salary: $72,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Co-teach and create an engaging classroom environment that supports academic mastery and student discourse.
• Teach mathematics, reading, writing, ELA, science, and social studies through structured, relevant curricula.
• Analyze student work samples and assessments with school leaders and instructional coaches, then differentiate instruction.
• Build supportive relationships with students and partner with families to address learning needs.
• Support daily school operations, including arrival, lunch duty, assemblies, transitions, and dismissal.
• Collaborate with grade-level colleagues and participate in professional development, coaching, mentorship, and school-wide meetings.

Requirements

• Commitment to students’ social-emotional and academic development.
• Enthusiasm for working with families in students’ best interests.
• Ability to learn independently, seek feedback, and apply it to improve outcomes.
• Interest in supporting K-12 students in urban schools and communities; 1–2 years of experience preferred.
• Academic background in elementary education, humanities, English, social sciences, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required before employment; New York certification eligibility and eventual New York State teacher certification are required.
