Manager - Restructuring Advisory (Finance)

What you will do

• Lead a portfolio of restructuring and insolvency assignments across multiple sectors.
• Deliver strategic advice and recovery solutions for underperforming and distressed businesses.
• Oversee administrations, including trading and pre-pack administrations, liquidations, and CVAs.
• Lead corporate transactions, negotiate commercial terms, and manage sale documentation.
• Advise on financial restructuring, distressed M&A, performance improvement, cash flow forecasting, and recovery planning.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships while mentoring junior team members and supporting business development.

Requirements

• Degree educated with CII or CPI qualification required.
• Deep professional-services or advisory experience in restructuring, turnaround, and insolvency.
• Strong knowledge of UK insolvency legislation and restructuring frameworks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing concurrent projects and leading teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insolvency case management systems such as IPS.

Nice to have

• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
• JIEB qualification or willingness to complete it.
• Experience with cash flow forecasting and recovery planning.
