Apartment Accounts Receivable Assistant

Location: Denver Tech Center, Denver, CO, USA; in-office 5 days a week

Salary: $21–$23 per hour base pay, plus commission potential based on collections performance

What you will do

• Contact delinquent account holders by phone or in writing to request payment and bring accounts current.
• Prepare late notices, process legal filings, collect rental payments, and review warrants of restitution.
• Conduct evictions and establish alternative payment plans or other payment processes.
• Follow up on payment plans and document collection activities.
• Recommend charge-offs when appropriate while maintaining professionalism during challenging conversations.

Requirements

• Entry-level capability with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems.
• Ability to use a variety of office equipment.
• Professionalism, patience, composure, and stress-management skills.
• Negotiation skills and the ability to work independently.
