EPC Project Manager (Solar)

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia; project responsibilities include Malaysia. Work rights in Indonesia are mandatory.

What you will do

• Manage EPC project programs, multidisciplinary teams, and project contracts for large-scale solar power plants.
• Prepare and execute projects from Ready-to-Build through Provisional Acceptance.
• Coordinate technical studies, surveys, design optimization, project risks, EPC setup, leases, insurance, health and safety, licenses, taxes, duties, logistics, and local entity setup.
• Prepare, execute, and evaluate turnkey EPC and O&M tenders and provide decision support for EPCM projects.
• Lead communication with internal and external stakeholders, including acting as the company representative under EPC contracts.
• Track and report project cost, timeline, and quality; manage risks, resolve issues, and coordinate acceptance and handover to asset management and O&M teams.

Requirements

• Engineering degree, preferably in electrical or civil engineering, with at least five years of relevant experience.
• Technical understanding of renewable energy, preferably solar.
• Experience in contract management and managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders to international standards.
• Fluent written and verbal English and Malay.
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, negotiation, networking, and time management skills.
• Existing work rights in Indonesia are mandatory; willingness to travel is required.
