Electrical Engineer (Data Centre)

What you will do

• Design electrical systems and services for pharmaceutical and mission-critical facilities.
• Support the management and execution of data centre projects from concept through closeout.
• Work within multidisciplinary teams on large and small projects and provide technical support to senior electrical engineers.
• Review other engineers' work, conduct peer reviews, and implement quality standards.
• Attend client and project meetings and participate in site visits to monitor, review, and sign off electrical installations.
• Perform value engineering and implement effective technologies and solutions.

Requirements

• Third-level degree in electrical engineering or a similar discipline.
• 5+ years of formal experience in heavy industrial engineering design.
• Experience across electrical design services, including MV/LV distribution, generators, UPS systems, lighting, emergency lighting, small power, fire alarm, security, earthing, bonding, hazardous areas, and specialist control systems.
• Knowledge of applicable electrical engineering codes, standards, and accepted industry practices.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, initiative, and a professional approach.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental protection.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
