Farm Operations Manager

Location: Merredin, Western Australia, approximately 30 km east of Merredin at the Mawarra farm

What you will do

• Oversee farm activities and contribute to daily farm management and operational performance.
• Manage and supervise Leading Hand and Machinery Operators.
• Support operational management, contractor coordination, employee leadership, and workplace health and safety.
• Work with the Farm Manager, independent agronomists, and precision agriculture specialists to monitor and manage crops.
• Contribute to crop potential, farm development, employee development, and group culture.
• Operate large-scale machinery for spraying, planting, spreading, and harvesting.

Requirements

• Broadacre cropping experience and sound knowledge of dryland winter crops.
• Experience operating large-scale cropping plant and equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach others.
• High initiative, self-motivation, and willingness to learn and adopt new practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with consulting agronomists and contractors.
• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to farm decision-making.
