Senior Inventory Control Specialist (Aerospace)

Location: Centennial, Colorado, USA; day shift on a 9/80 schedule with alternating Fridays off. US citizenship required.

Compensation: $40–$45 per hour, depending on qualifications, plus eligibility for a year-end bonus.

What you will do

• Maintain accurate inventory locations for Government Furnished Property and Customer Furnished Property.
• Manage Government Property compliance, property accountability, documentation, and audit readiness across programs.
• Execute complex inventory and materials functions, including shop order kitting, requisitions, loans, purchase orders, shortage resolution, and material transfers.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and respond to customer inquiries and data requests.
• Ensure material availability, resolve supply discrepancies, and mitigate program schedule risks.
• Improve inventory and material workflows, support ERP/MRP reporting, and mentor Property Administrators.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in materials management, inventory administration, or property management within aerospace, defense, or another regulated environment.
• Hands-on experience with Government Property regulations, including FAR/DFARS, GFP/CFP accountability, and audit readiness.
• Experience with program closeout and disposition of excess or residual property according to property lifecycle requirements.
• Experience supporting audits, customer inquiries, compliance activities, and material traceability.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and reporting tools; IFS or similar experience is preferred and PIEE experience is ideal.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, cross-functional collaboration, ownership, and attention to detail.
