Sr. Business Systems Analyst - Finance & HR (SAP FI/CO)

Location: Oak Brook, Illinois, United States; hybrid work arrangement with occasional domestic travel

Salary: $85,500–$162,975 per year, plus benefits, 401(k) contribution, and eligibility for a short-term incentive plan

What you will do

• Design and own Finance and HR solutions across SAP ECC FI/CO, Workday, Kronos, and the integrated application landscape.
• Contribute to end-to-end solution architecture and ensure designs follow enterprise architecture standards.
• Lead major workstreams for implementations, platform migrations, and complex cross-functional integrations from requirements through go-live and hypercare.
• Provide subject-matter expertise, roadmap recommendations, process analysis, and system capability proposals to business stakeholders and IT leadership.
• Resolve complex cross-platform issues, design change and testing approaches, and manage escalations with the Application Managed Services provider.
• Mentor analysts, review functional designs, and identify AI-enabled process improvement and innovation opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 7 years of experience in enterprise applications or IT, including at least 5 years of hands-on SAP FI/CO configuration experience.
• Deep knowledge of Finance processes including AP, AR, Credit, GL, COPA, Tax, Asset Management, Product Costing, Treasury, and Financial Reporting.
• Experience with at least one full-lifecycle SAP implementation, including design and blueprinting, and leadership of a major workstream or solution component.
• Strong SAP FI/CO solution design, SDLC, release management, change management, testing, validation, business analysis, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Oak Brook, Illinois, with occasional domestic travel.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science and relevant SAP certification.
• SAP S/4HANA and migration experience, including experience in global environments.
• Experience with Vertex, Paymetrics, EDI, IDOCs, Concur, SAP BPC, subscription management, recurring billing, or SAP ECC HR Mini Master.
• Experience integrating SAP ECC with Workday or another cloud-based HRIS.
• Experience mentoring analysts, estimating work, designing reports, and building stakeholder relationships.
