Home Loan Servicing Representative I

Location: Liberty Lake, Washington, USA; office-based role with possible temporary assignment to other locations

Salary: $20.42–$28.58 per hour

What you will do

• Respond to member and internal team inquiries about mortgage and home equity loan servicing through phone, email, and secure messaging.
• Process payment maintenance, payoff quotes and transactions, lien releases, automatic payment setup, and payment corrections.
• Maintain titles, Deeds of Trust, collateral records, insurance tracking, and escrow-related workflows.
• Complete quality-control audits on newly funded loans, verify loan setup accuracy, and process third-party disbursements and insurance payments.
• Support accurate credit reporting and compliance with applicable servicing standards, SLAs, and quality metrics.
• Manage reports, workflows, shared inbox messages, mail, procedure updates, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of member consultant or service experience in a financial institution, or at least one year of hands-on home loan lending experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in lending processes.
• Proficient knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Ability to communicate professionally, operate a computer, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented office environment.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of loan collateral and consumer protection laws, including FCRA, SCRA, and CFPB guidelines.
• Experience with Finastra Phoenix.
