Home Lending Payment Processor (Mortgage Servicing)

Location: Fully onsite in Spokane, Washington, USA at 12812 N Addison Street, Spokane, WA 99218

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour, with possible performance-based incentive compensation

What you will do

• Process mortgage loan payments, payoffs, billing, new loan boarding, reconveyances, audits, and error resolutions.
• Manage escrow servicing, including annual analysis, tax and insurance payments, PMI reviews, flood monitoring, and forced-placed insurance.
• Handle ARM and balloon notices, re-amortizations, SCRA tracking, servicing transfers, repurchases, and other investor requirements.
• Provide customer service and respond to internal and external servicing inquiries, including complex or escalated issues.
• Support continuous improvement, zero-defect workflows, problem-solving, cross-training, and collaboration with coworkers and management.
• Maintain compliance with bank policies, investor requirements, the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, and other applicable regulations.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in banking, loan servicing, or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of mortgage loans, lending documents, investor policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Advanced math, analytical, critical-thinking, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Word, Excel, loan servicing systems, and other office equipment.
• Ability to work fully onsite at the Spokane, Washington location.
