Registered Nurse (RN) Specialist

Location: Weymouth, Massachusetts, USA; travel required between two assisted living communities in Massachusetts

Salary: $120,000–$130,000 yearly

What you will do

• Support nursing departments with compliance, clinical planning, resident assessments, staffing, budgeting, and hands-on care.
• Oversee resident care plans, progress documentation, assessments, audits, EHR and EMAR records, and action plans.
• Lead and mentor Health and Wellness Directors and nursing teams, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, competency evaluation, and coverage during vacancies.
• Develop and maintain quality assurance programs, benchmarks, monitoring measures, policies, and procedures for assisted living and memory care.
• Conduct compliance visits, site visits, mock surveys, regulatory survey participation, and audits of level-of-care assessments.
• Collaborate with regional leadership, physicians, vendors, community leaders, and other stakeholders on clinical strategy and resident outcomes.

Requirements

• Current RN license in Massachusetts and graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• At least two years of experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health, or a hospital setting preferred.
• Experience working with residents with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations, nursing practices, and clinical care standards.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Windows, Outlook, and Excel, and the ability to learn new applications.
• Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, and supporting residents.
