Residential Care Director (Senior Living)

Salary: USD 100,000–112,000 per year

What you will do

• Direct the delivery of assisted living care to meet residents’ emotional, physical, psychological, and safety needs.
• Coordinate care conferences and serve as a liaison between residents, families, and staff.
• Manage nursing and assisted living staff, including schedules, assignments, training, and in-services.
• Oversee assessments, evaluations, care plans, documentation, resident orientation, and level-of-care decisions.
• Manage labor costs, supplies, and other items in the clinical budget.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, mandatory reporting, incident follow-up, and mock surveys while providing 24/7 on-call clinical support.

Requirements

• Experience managing a clinical team in a senior living or hospital setting.
• Current LPN/LVN or RN license required.
• Experience managing and developing complex teams and handling high-level scheduling and communication responsibilities.
• Experience with EMR/EHR clinical documentation systems.
• Ability to maintain CEUs and other state requirements, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
