Patient Service Representative - Physical Therapy - Part Time (34 hours/week)

What you will do

• Handle reception duties for the physical therapy service.
• Maintain and process medical records.
• Coordinate referrals and pre-authorizations.
• Schedule patients and manage related administrative workflows.
• Work closely with healthcare personnel, KVH staff, and external customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of general administrative, clerical, or customer service experience.
• Current intermediate to expert-level experience with Microsoft products.
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.
• Previous cash-handling experience.

Nice to have

• Some college coursework.
• Previous medical office experience with medical records, insurance verification, pre-authorization, scheduling, or high-volume phone systems.
• Relevant professional certifications in coding, billing, or medical administration.
