Medical Customer Service Representative Onsite - Part Time (Healthcare)

Location: On-site in Coppell, Texas, USA. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM CST.

Salary: $18.59 per hour.

What you will do

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with patients about medical bills, accounts, benefits, claims, and payments.
• Answer questions about medical billing and patient accounts while providing timely customer service.
• Review insurance Explanation of Benefits statements to determine patient responsibility, adjustments, and write-offs.
• Explain charges, requirements, policies, and available patient financial care resources.
• Follow HIPAA, regulatory compliance requirements, and internal policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Excellent organization, customer service, and communication skills.
• Moderate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
• Problem-solving skills, good judgment, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through.
• Ability to multitask across multiple systems and work with little or no supervision.
• Preferred: one year of customer service, medical billing or revenue cycle management, or on-site patient contact center experience.
