Business Application Manager, D&IT Projects

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Salary: €74,879–€102,958 per year, depending on experience and location.

What you will do

• Lead information systems projects from planning and design through implementation and user adoption.
• Analyze business processes and design solutions for Commercial Operations, Marketing, Market Access, and Global Supply Chain.
• Ensure GxP compliance, Good Documentation Practice, and Computer System Validation activities under the hirify.global ISPD framework.
• Administer business applications, provide user support, and deliver system enhancements.
• Develop secure operating models, maintain documentation, and support information systems audits.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver cost-effective, high-quality services across EMEA and global teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT or IS, including digital transformation, project management, vendor management, and international IT project delivery.
• Experience with data analytics, data science, and GenAI.
• Strong project management, structured working methods, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint skills.
• Strategic thinking, customer focus, cross-functional collaboration, and cultural awareness when working with Asian, particularly Japanese, stakeholders.
• Strong English communication and negotiation skills required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ITIL, data science, data analytics, and GenAI.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, commercial business processes, technology consulting, or strategy.
• Experience in change leadership, organizational development, or working with Japanese companies.
