Facilities Maintenance VII - 3rd Shift - New Bern

Location: Onsite at 101 Industrial Drive, New Bern, North Carolina, United States; 3rd shift

Base salary: $66,580–$77,792 USD per year, plus participation in an annual bonus plan or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Repair, maintain, install, and modify production machinery, facility equipment, motors, conveyors, electrical systems, and plant infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and machine-control systems using tools, drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Identify operating difficulties, recommend equipment or process changes, and collaborate with maintenance and controls engineers on corrective actions.
• Complete preventive maintenance, repair, facilities project, and work orders, including material evaluation, ordering, and execution.
• Perform fabrication and repair work using lathes, end mills, welding and soldering equipment, plasma cutters, sheet-metal brakes, and band saws.
• Document maintenance activities, communicate outstanding needs across shifts, and mentor lower-level maintenance personnel.

Requirements

• Advanced understanding of machine controls and the ability to review existing logic and troubleshoot control systems.
• Working knowledge of plant systems, infrastructure, utilities, machinery assemblies, and production equipment.
• Experience using electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, fabrication, and machine-shop tools and equipment.
• Ability to work effectively with limited supervision, independently, and as part of a team.
• Ability to complete required documentation and work orders accurately and on time.
• Ability to work onsite on the 3rd shift in New Bern, North Carolina.
