Facilities Maintenance VII - New Bern - 2nd Shift (Industrial Equipment)

Location: 101 Industrial Drive, New Bern, North Carolina, United States; onsite, full-time, 2nd shift

Salary: $72,820–$84,656 USD annually, plus an annual bonus or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Repair, maintain, install, and modify electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, conveyor, production, and facilities equipment.
• Troubleshoot machine controls, review existing logic, and collaborate with maintenance and controls engineers on corrective changes.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, fabrication, machine-shop work, welding, soldering, and facilities project work.
• Diagnose operating difficulties, identify replacement parts, and support equipment safety, availability, and reliability.
• Document maintenance actions and communicate irregularities, continuing needs, and shift handoffs.
• Mentor lower-level maintenance personnel and work independently or collaboratively with limited supervision.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in a maintenance-related field, plus at least five years of related experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of plant systems, infrastructure, utilities, technical drawings, layouts, diagrams, and schematics.
• Advanced understanding of machine controls and experience troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Fabrication experience using lathes, end mills, welding and soldering equipment, plasma cutters, sheet-metal brakes, and band saws.
• Electrical license preferred; ability to complete required paperwork and work effectively with limited supervision.
