Location: Base Metals Refinery, Rustenburg, South Africa; shift-based onsite work with standby and overtime as required.

What you will do

• Carry out assigned processing and basic operational procedures under direct supervision.
• Monitor equipment, perform pre-operational checks, and complete equipment and safety inspections.
• React to abnormal activities, report hazards, and notify the line manager.
• Assist with fault finding, problem analysis, breakdowns, and team support.
• Complete safety reports, data logging, housekeeping, and compliance activities.
• Participate in safety meetings and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / NQF 4 with Maths, Science, and English.
• Valid EB / Code 08 driver’s licence.
• At least 6 months of working experience.
• Ability to perform shift work, standby, and overtime when required.
• Ability to undergo a medical fitness test.
