What you will do

  • Manage chemical stock levels and oversee the filling of dosing tanks.
  • Conduct daily water chemistry testing for effluent batches and cooling towers.
  • Monitor and report on potable water quality and perform daily treatment on sludge dams.
  • Perform daily water meter readings and maintain accurate records.
  • Execute problem-solving and repairs as required to maintain plant operations.
  • Ensure all site activities comply with health, safety, and quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Durban (KZN)
  • Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
  • B-Tech degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Analytical Chemistry.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in a similar industrial environment.
  • Must be physically fit to perform site duties.
  • Strong attention to detail and self-discipline.
