Location: Kempton Park, South Africa; onsite plant and workshop work with shift, standby, and overtime duties as required

hirify.global operates the Innovative Water Care business where this role supports plant, workshop, and facility maintenance.

What you will do

• Perform preventive, predictive, reactive, and unscheduled maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems, diagnose failures, and report plant or equipment deviations.
• Carry out minor and major maintenance tasks in the plant, workshop, and other facilities during production operations.
• Evaluate equipment improvements to increase availability, capability, and yield.
• Prepare technical reports documenting equipment modifications and maintenance procedures.
• Plan work, solve problems, support projects, and supervise or coach team members when required.

Requirements

• Trade test certificate as a Fitter or Millwright.
• N3 qualification or Grade 12.
• Fluent English required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good literacy and numeracy, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Physical fitness and ability to work while wearing specified personal protective equipment are required.
