Mobile Maintenance Electrician

Location: Maynooth, County Kildare, Ireland, with work across various sites in the Maynooth region and central belt. Full, clean Irish or EU driving licence required.

What you will do

• Complete planned preventive maintenance tasks and inspections on daily, weekly, monthly, bi-annual, and annual schedules.
• Assemble, install, test, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, fixtures, and electronic systems.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, perform fault finding, and correct electrical breakdowns.
• Inspect and test electrical systems for hazards, defects, safety, and compliance with applicable codes.
• Complete check sheets, reports, records, work orders, and maintenance close-out documentation.
• Liaise with the FM maintenance manager and colleagues to plan work, meet PPM dates, and support apprentices.

Requirements

• Level 6 qualified electrician.
• QC number and testing experience.
• Safe Electric / RECI registration or eligibility required.
• Proven commercial or industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Full, clean Irish or EU driving licence required.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a mobile environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with FM contracts or multi-site portfolios.
• Knowledge of planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance.
